Dog hiking services in Birmingham offer longer, more physically demanding exercise and socialization for dogs that need or want it along the trails of Oak Mountain, Red Mountain, or any other trails in Birmingham.
Poodah’s Dog Trails and Hiking service provide your puppy the chance to socialize with other dogs in a focused environment, teaching them skills for staying calm in other social environments. Your puppy will also benefit from ongoing on-leash training. We provide pick-up/drop-off services, so you don’t have to worry about getting your pup(s) to and from the trail. If your puppy isn’t up for a hike that day, rest assured a standard Dog Walk guaranteed to be available.
What Poodah’s Doggy Hikes include:
- Pick-up from work or home (within our service area)
- Minimum 90 minutes to 3 hours of on-leash hiking time (time varies depending on the pick-up/drop-off request)
- Socializing with other pups
- Physically and mentally stimulating exercise and play-time
- Drop-off at work or home (within our service area)
- Half-day, on-leash, forest hikes – $42.00 for one dog / $28.00 for the 2nd dog from the same household
- Current Rabies, Distemper and Bordatella vaccines
- Regular, ongoing flea and tick care
- A flat collar with current tags and rabies tag
- A 6-foot non-extendable leash
*Poodah Hikes are available Sunday through Saturday based on weather conditions.

Additional $8 per walk on all major holidays.
